Celebrating the life of
Earl Daniel Alexander, III
September 29, 1939 - November 14, 2025
Earl Daniel Alexander lll, 86 of Savannah Ga. went to be with the Lord November 14, 2025 after a short illness.
Earl was a member of Wilmington Island Methodist Church where he led the Stewardship committee for many years. He started programs to raise money for the church including the annual barbeque, pumpkin, and Christmas tree sale fundraisers. Earl retired at the young age of 80 from the business he started, Energy Lighting Products. He enjoyed family, friends, hunting, and nature. Earl never met a stranger. He would say a stranger is just a friend you did not know you had. He would keep you spellbound as he regaled you with his numerous tales of his past shenanigans, as those who were in his local morning coffee club could attest.
Earl was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley, his brother, Ken, five children: Robert, Joy, Kim, Daniel, and Andrew, nine grandchildren: Kevin, Gabrielle, Reed, Zachery, Ellasin, Layla, Maddox, Celeste, and Whelan, a great grandson, Zayd, as well as his beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held at Wilmington Island Methodist Church on Friday, November 21st at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers please donate in Earl’s memory to St Judes Children’s hospital, his favorite charity.

Earl and I were the best of friends during our Jaycee days. We were known as the organizers of the Rowdy Table twenty members strong and wherever you saw me, you saw Earl. After I moved to Lincoln River in Richmond Hill, we eventually drifted apart, but the memories from those days have always stayed with me. I will always remember Earl as he was back then, and the friendship we shared. Shirley, I am profoundly sorry for your loss. I know how deeply Earl loved you from the very beginning.
